Nationwide Expansion Begins - September 2009"Never has America's charities seen such an unprecedented downturn in charitable giving," said Russell A. Jackson, Founder of Partners For A Cause, LLC. "Until you've sat in the hot seat it's hard to imagine what a CEO of a Non-Profit organization is experiencing right now. The pressure is absolutely incredible and the job is 24/7. Now is the time to rollout our program into markets across our great nation. This will require that we find dynamic and passionate leaders who can build this program from the ground up in their local community." Russell Jackson knows first-hand the pressures of running a Non Profit Organization. In 1997 he left his job as a Firefighter for the City of Hoover, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama, to found an organization called Kid One Transport, an organization that provides medically ill children a free ride to medical care when their family has no means of transportation. "Every day I felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders. I was looking at a wait list of thousands of children who were eligible for our service in Alabama and how much money I must raise to meet that need," said Jackson. Russell passed the baton to his successor at the end of 2004 to spend more time with his family. It was during this off-time that he and his wife, Mary, began working on a strategy that today is called Partners For A Cause. "From day one our goal was to create a fundraising product that would be effective for the Non Profit sector. We wanted to design a tool that Non Profit's could have confidence in. This began with making sure we were returning as much of the proceeds to them as possible," said Jackson. "We believe our 75% going back to the charity is a statement, and as God continues to open doors for this organization we hope to one day return even more." "Now our challenge is finding those representatives nationwide who have an entreprenuerial spirit and have the fortitude that will be required to expand this program into their community," said Jackson. "We are going to continue to follow God's plan for this program and he will deliver the right leaders when it's in his time."
