Partners For A Cause Founder Honored by CNN News

Russell A. Jackson, Founder of Partners For A Cause, LLC, was surprised last summer when a Producer from CNN News contacted him. "I remember I was with my family at Disney World when the phone call came. The Producer told me that I had been selected as one of CNN News Heroes of the Year," said Jackson. "I thought it must have been a mistake or a prank. But as the conversation continued I knew it was no joke."

Jackson was selected out of thousands of nominations that are received annually at CNN. "This is a tremendous honor and I give credit to the people of Alabama. They believed in me and embraced the need. Because of their support, 16,000 children have now accessed medical care here in Alabama that they may have otherwise went without," said Jackson.
